We encourage you to participate. Noticeable improvement happens within a short time. Choose an appropriate class level from beginner to active. Encourage ourselves to be our best.

Classes start promptly.

We have mats, blocks, straps, bolsters and blankets available for class use.

Don't eat a large meal prior to class.

Share any concerns with the teacher before class.

Individual Yoga

Private instruction is suitable for individuals, one or more people, who prefer a personal approach which includes discussion and closer collaboration between teacher and student. It is often a good introduction for people less certain of their movement abilities. Individual instruction can adapt to your best schedule when personal schedules conflict with yoga studio class times.

Private instruction includes an additional level of attention for therapeutic assistance needed for injury or illness challenges. Rehabilitation assistance for knees, hips, thoracic surgeries; post traumatic stress relief from service, accidents and other anxiety.

Pulmonary function strengthening and rehab with individualized breathing exercises.

Individual yoga offers support for stroke and TBI recovery.

We also work with difficult spinal restrictions, and a variety of autoimmune disorders, from Rheumatoid Arthritis to Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Lupus and Fibromyalgia, to different neuropathies and myalgias.

Each class includes guided movement and introspective exploration of mind-body connections. Consideration is given to individual circumstances, including personal take-home activity plans.

By appointment. Private studio class fee (the price of an insurance co-pay) is $45 per single person, additional participants add $10 per person, (for ex- 2 people = $55).

Discussion, breathing and movement practice with conversational assessment lasts from 1.5 to 2 hours.

Recent examples of private classes have included individual conditioning and couple sessions. Currently we have a private chair yoga class which avoids down to the floor movement, open to additional people by request, on Tuesdays at 2:30 pm. (shown in the above video). Additional people participating brings down the per person cost, (for example @ 5 people = $17 pp). Ongoing private classes include a bimonthly class for intellectually disabled adults, open to interested adults and their caregivers by request.
